John Spytek is the General Manager of the Las Vegas Raiders. Prior to assuming the GM role in Las Vegas, Spytek served as Assistant General Manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During his tenure in Tampa, Spytek played an instrumental role in the signing of legendary quarterback Tom Brady in 2020, a pivotal move that led to a Super Bowl championship and is widely regarded as the most significant free-agent acquisition in Buccaneers history. A former University of Michigan football player, Spytek has earned a league-wide reputation as one of the NFL’s most respected evaluators of talent, recognized for his sharp eye for talent, ability to analyze personalities and disciplined approach to roster construction. His reputation comes from two decades of experience evaluating players, constructing NFL rosters and deconstructing the game of football—a tireless grind that began as an intern with the Detroit Lions and continues in his current GM role. Reunited with Raiders part-owner Brady, Spytek is focused on sustaining that same relentless approach as he works to restore success to one of the NFL’s most storied franchises.

MIKE TAYLOR

Mike Taylor is the Lead Portfolio Manager of the Simplify Health Care ETF (PINK), the first 100% pro bono ETF dedicated to the health care sector, with net profits donated annually to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. He brings more than two decades of experience managing long/short health care equity portfolios at leading hedge funds. Previously, Mike served as a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director at CriticalMass Partners LLC and managed hedged and factor-neutral portfolios with gross exposure exceeding $1 billion at firms including Millennium, Citadel, and Diamondback Capital. He is widely regarded as having built and led one of the top-performing health care investment platforms on Wall Street.  Mike began his investment career at OppenheimerFunds, where he was Head of Healthcare. Prior to portfolio management, he worked as a scientist in the 1990s, developing viral vector–based gene therapies for the biopharmaceutical industry. He holds advanced degrees in science and business from Johns Hopkins University and the William E. Simon School of Business.
